Rebirthday Party
The Fool, in Tarot readings, is "the spirit in search of experience." He's stepping off the precipice and into the void -- or into the jaws of a crocodile in some decks. Yikes! The Fool represents new creative beginnings and unlimited choice. My circumstances have changed -- I have changed -- in the last 400 or so days since I posted last, and I want to choose wisely. Here's how I'll recognize when I'm making wise choices: when the choices I make have you feeling empowered and present to love. And when my choices have me feeling that way, too.
That's what I'll do my best to create here. It does feel like a leap of faith!
Thanks for leaping with me.

just going through this right now, makign choices but how do I know which are the right ones? I think you've got a pretty good guidance system: does it lead to others' happiness? Does that, in turn, make me happier?

@Peet: note that she didn't write "happiness" but "empowerment". Making choices that lead to empowerment doesn't necessarily imply that the consequences of these choices will always make you happy. But you will become aware of your own ability to CHOOSE happiness and move closer to that. Being empowered means being able and conscious about slipping out of the victim role, among others. And in a way, that makes happiness that much more likely.
Angela: I am not sure I completely understand this blog post. To me, this is what you have been doing all along the past two or so years that I have had the pleasure of reading your blog posts and forum entries.
Hugs,
Eddy
